Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival, Arusha Airport to Arusha Town
When you arrive in Arusha, our driver will be there to pick you up and head to your hotel. The drive from the airport to your hotel is about an hour. Your safari consultant, together with your safari guide, will meet you and brief you on various aspects of your itinerary, including sharing all the important tips before the safari begins. If you arrive early, after the briefing, you will get a chance to go on the free Arusha town tour to learn about the lifestyle and culture of the local people.

Day 2 : Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up from your hotel and proceed to Tarangire National Park for game viewing and a picnic lunch.The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, which is the only source of water for the wild animals here during the dry season.
The park is famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons. Around noon we will have a picnic for lunch and continue with game viewing.Later we will drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3: Karatu to Central Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will begin your journey to Serengeti. The route ahead will take you through a long and occasionally bumpy road, providing you with approximately 4-5 hours of captivating game viewing as you ascend the crater highlands towards the vast plains of Serengeti. If the weather conditions allow, a 10-minute stop will be made at Ngorongoro Viewpoint, offering you a glimpse of the breathtaking caldera before continuing the drive to Serengeti.
You will enjoy a delightful picnic lunch along the way, allowing you to refuel and take in the surrounding scenery. Upon reaching the park, an afternoon game drive will be arranged for you to fully immerse yourself in the abundance of wildlife. As the sun begins to set, you will make your way to your accommodation, where a delicious dinner will be served, followed by a restful overnight stay in the tranquility of the Serengeti.

Day 4: Central Serengeti
Experience a full day of adventure in Serengeti National Park. From sunrise to sunset, embark on an exhilarating game drive, seeking out the magnificent Big Five and discovering a diverse array of over 500 bird species. At an extra-cost you can elevate your experience with a Hot Air Balloon or a walking safari. As the day draws to a close, return to your accommodation at sunset for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
Today, you will have an early start as you wake up in the morning and gather in the safari vehicle by 6:00 am. The purpose is to embark on a sunrise game drive, taking advantage of the prime time when the animals are most active. After an exhilarating wildlife encounter, you will make a stop at a scenic picnic site nestled in the heart of the bush. Here, you can savor a delicious breakfast surrounded by the untamed beauty of nature.
The game drive will continue until noon, allowing for further exploration and wildlife sightings. At this point, you will break for lunch and then proceed towards Ngorongoro. After an impeccable experience in the world’s largest Caldera, in the evening you will arrive at your accommodation, where a delightful dinner awaits, followed by a comfortable overnight stay. Enjoy the warm hospitality and tranquility of the lodge as you prepare for more exciting adventures in the days to come.

Day 6: Karatu to Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park for game driving and a picnic lunch.This small but scenic park covers an area of only 330 sq km (127 sq miles), of which up to 200 sq km (77 sq miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high.
Lake Manyara is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos and maybe even a legendary tree-climbing lion! At some point during your game drive, you should get off your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos here.Later we will drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 7: Arusha Planet Lodge to KIA/Arusha Airport
After breakfast, enjoy the last hours in Arusha. Your driver will pick you up at the lodge and drive you to the airport.
On the way, you can stop at Arusha Cultural Heritage to buy souvenirs for friends and family while our driver takes care of your luggage. We will arrive in time at the airport for your check-in and you’ll catch the flight back home or to your next destination.
