Stunning scenery and an abundance of wildlife make for an unforgettable day trip to Ngorongoro. After breakfast at 6:00am, you will drive to the meeting point to begin your journey to the impressive Ngorongoro Crater.
The crater spans 20 kilometers (12 miles) across, is 600 meters (2,000 feet) deep, and covers an area of 300 square kilometers (115 square miles). It is a magnificent natural wonder and serves as a habitat for a variety of wildlife and bird species. The crater has a basin-like structure featuring a soda lake (Lake Magadi), the Ngoitokitok springs, and the Gorigor swamp.

You will pause for lunch halfway through your adventure before continuing to explore. In the late evening, you will drive back to Arusha.
